Allied dog benefits

Our experienced and highly trained dogs are excited to meet your residents and help them to achieve their goals. Each session activity can be adapted to make it accessible to all.

Physical contact with a friendly dog helps lower blood pressure, reduce cortisol levels, and promote a sense of calm.
Dogs act as a natural conversation starter, helping residents open up in ways they might not otherwise.
Dogs naturally encourage residents to move with purpose which supports mobility and confidence.
Touching, brushing, and hearing the dog stimulates multiple senses, supporting sensory processing and emotional regulation.
